I have learned a lot in the few short weeks into the semester though because of my goal to work in prevention as an inspector I am focusing on material necessary to perform the duties of the position. Chapter one very important to me because I would be actively involved in pre incident planning being an inspector. Identifying and remediating potential hazards before they become a problem can save lives. Therefore the role of an inspector prior to an incident occurring is vital to ensuring a successful operation. Additionally, one of my lifelong goals is to participate on the hazmat team and to do so I must learn what was covered in chapter 2 Building Classifications and Structural Fire Resistance.
